BANDAI CANDY, the food toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product in its 'SO-DO CHRONICLE' Kamen Rider food toy series: "SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider DRIVE," slated for release in January 2024.
The 'SO-DO CHRONICLE' food toy series features Kamen Rider figures approximately 10 cm tall, boasting intricate sculpting and articulation, with some parts pre-painted. The products are divided into two types: [A] Body Set and [B] Armor Set. Once collected, these can be combined to form the Kamen Rider main body and its dedicated weaponry. Using the included color-correction stickers, the figures can be made to even more closely resemble their on-screen counterparts.
This product lineup includes several main Riders from "Kamen Rider DRIVE," such as Kamen Rider DRIVE Type Speed / Type Dead Heat, transformed by protagonist Shinnosuke Tomari; Kamen Rider Mach, transformed by Go Shijima; and Mashin Chaser, who was modified in the early stages and had not yet awakened from his Roidmude state. All four figures feature completely new sculpts, delivering superior detailing and articulation!

With two additional expansion parts sets, various form changes and armaments can be achieved. For instance, DRIVE can swap between the Door Gun, Handle-Ken, and five different tires. Mach, in addition to the Zenrin Shooter, also comes with various stickers to recreate "Signal Exchange." Kamen Rider DRIVE Type Dead Heat can utilize the aforementioned tire exchanges and signal exchanges to switch forms, and even swap heads to recreate "Kamen Rider Dead Heat Mach!"
