Following the "Millennium Puzzle" and "Enemy Controller", Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd. is once again releasing its latest product based on the TV anime "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters"—the "Millennium Rod COMPLETE EDITION"! The suggested retail price is 11,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in February 2024.
In the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" series, the "Millennium Rod (千年ロッド)", one of the seven Millennium Items, is modeled after the Pharaoh's scepter. Three thousand years ago, it was held by Priest Seto, and later became a Millennium Item guarded by the Tomb Keepers clan. It possesses the ability to freely manipulate the hearts of others, capable of brainwashing, mind control, or memory erasure, among other things, and is also a tool for initiating Dark Games. Marik, due to the awakening of his dark personality, seized the Millennium Rod and used its power to prevent the Pharaoh from regaining his memories.
The "Millennium Rod COMPLETE EDITION" is produced at a length of approximately 40 cm, based on the proportions from the series. It features a luxurious golden surface achieved through vacuum deposition gold plating technology, faithfully recreating its appearance from the work. Combined with a light-up mechanism, it perfectly reproduces the golden glow seen in the show!
