BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan business division of Bandai Co., Ltd. in Japan, recently announced the latest product in its popular Pokémon Shokugan series, 『POKEMON SCALE WORLD』, titled "Paldea Region Arc," slated for release in December 2023.
Each character in the 『POKEMON SCALE WORLD』 series is meticulously crafted to a consistent 1/20 scale, allowing collectors to appreciate the size differences between human characters and various Pokémon, thereby creating a miniature world where humans and Pokémon coexist. The product lineup primarily features characters from the Pokémon video game series, including protagonists, rivals, Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Champions, along with their Pokémon partners, enabling players to relive cherished memories from their gameplay.
This time, POKEMON SCALE WORLD finally arrives in the Paldea region, the setting of the latest series installment, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The first wave will center around the familiar female protagonist, Juliana, and will feature the three starter Pokémon and their evolved forms. This includes eight Pokémon in total: Sprigatito, Floragato, Meowscarada, Fuecoco, Crocalor, Quaxly, Quaxwell, and Quaquaval. The consistent scale beautifully illustrates the size differences before and after evolution, and when paired with the Juliana figure, it creates adorable scenes reminiscent of picnicking and playing together in the game!

As for the missing third-stage evolution of Fuecoco, Skeledirge, why isn't it included in this set? Perhaps its horizontally expansive size made it impossible to fit in. It might be released later as a PREMIUM BANDAI exclusive, alongside the male protagonist Florian's figure.
