American toy brand MEZCO TOYZ's 1/12 scale action figure line "ONE:12 COLLECTIVE" has officially announced its latest product from "Raiders of the Lost Ark", featuring the ruthless Gestapo officer from the film! The "Major Toht and Ark of the Covenant" Deluxe Boxed Set is scheduled for release in June-August 2024!
Portrayed by British actor Ronald Lacey in "Raiders of the Lost Ark", the evil German Nazi officer "Major Toht" is undoubtedly one of the most memorable villains. Particularly iconic scenes include the superheated medallion leaving an imprint on his palm in Marion's bar in Nepal, and later in the Egyptian desert, raising his marked hand and exclaiming "Heil Hitler"; the biggest highlight of this set is Major Toht's extensive array of head sculpts, capturing everything from his confident smile to his scream after the Ark is opened, and the terrifying appearance of his face completely melted by intense energy! The fabric-tailored suit is also exquisitely crafted, and can be paired with accessories such as an interchangeable branded hand, pistol, medallion, and a glowing hot poker.
What's even more amazing is that this set also includes an Ark of the Covenant with a light-up feature and ghosts (with stands), allowing you to vividly recreate Major Toht's final moments!
