BANDAI CANDY, the confectionery and toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from the 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE' candy toy series, which features intricate structures and details at an average height of 55mm. The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE White Wolf of Solomon Set," based on "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV," is scheduled for release in February 2024.
Shin Matsunaga is one of the Principality of Zeon's renowned ace pilots, known by titles such as "White Wolf" and "White Wolf of Solomon," owing to the fact that his mobile suits were almost always painted white. Although he came from a merchant family, he possessed a martial and courageous personality. Strongly averse to the family business, he chose to enlist in the military, becoming the only professional soldier in his family. During the Battle of Loum, Shin Matsunaga was highly regarded by Dozle Zabi and served as his escort, shooting down several Federation battleships and achieving significant military success. He later rose to become Dozle's Personal Guard Captain and defended Solomon, achieving monumental victories that earned him the fearsome reputation of "White Wolf of Solomon" among the Earth Federation Forces.
The "FW GUNDAM CONVERGE CORE White Wolf of Solomon Set" includes five legendary mobile suits piloted by Shin Matsunaga: Shin Matsunaga's High Mobility Type Zaku II, Shin Matsunaga's Zaku II (Custom Type), Shin Matsunaga's Zaku II FS Type, Shin Matsunaga's Gelgoog J, and Rick Dom (Shin Matsunaga's Unit).
