KOTOBUKIYA (Japan), developer of the highly customizable model kit series "HEXA GEAR", has announced the latest product, "Windfall Night Stalkers Specification", which will be sold exclusively through official channels such as the KOTOBUKIYA SHOP, with an expected release in February 2024.

After the large-scale battle known as the "Dragon Strike Battle" subsided, unidentified flying HEXA GEAR wreckage, suspected to belong to Valiant Force, was discovered around the crystal furnace that had become the battlefield. Liberty Alliance then analyzed this wreckage and utilized its technology to develop the third-generation HEXA GEAR "Windfall", capable of independent flight, truly an unexpected gain (WINDFALL). Parts of this unit's structure resemble the red dragon guarding the crystal furnace, but it is smaller, more agile, and possesses nimble flight capabilities, making it highly suitable for missions such as material transport, reconnaissance, patrol, and surprise attacks.

The "Windfall Night Stalkers Specification" released this time is a variant used by special forces. It features new molding colors, changing the unit's paint scheme to a black-toned night camouflage, and includes new decals printed with the Night Stalkers' unit emblem. The overall structure and accessories are essentially the same as the regular version. The head unit adopts a top-and-bottom split design, featuring movable head radar and deployable head camera shields. The multi-jointed neck can twist in all directions (up, down, left, and right), and the yellow tubing extending from the top of the head to the neck is made of soft material to avoid hindering joint articulation.

Regarding weaponry, in addition to the Super Plasma Cannon and Gale Shockwave Cannon, the cockpit unit "Scarecrow Mk-3" can also separate from the Windfall main body for standalone play, transforming into a bipedal small HEXA GEAR that can be ridden by separately sold Governor figures.
