Japanese toy company RE-MENT (リーメント), known for its miniature accessories and prop blind box toys, will release the latest blind box product with a "Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure in Henderland" theme: "Crayon Shin-chan Clay Art Collection" (tentative translation, ねんどアートコレクション). There are 6 types in total, each box has a suggested retail price of 990 JPY, and is expected to be released in September 2023.
Crayon Shin-chan's fourth animated film, "Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure in Henderland", was released in Japan in 1996. The story begins with a field trip from Futaba Kindergarten to the newly opened Henderland. Shin-chan, separated from his classmates, wanders alone into an unopened circus and encounters the fairy tale puppet "Toppema". To break the spell and stop the homosexual twin demons' plan to conquer Earth, a chase for the "Super Awesome Playing Cards" unfolds between the real and magical worlds...
The "RE-MENT Crayon Shin-chan: Great Adventure in Henderland Clay Art Collection" blind box toys are based on the original models by clay animation artist Takuya Ishida-sensei, perfectly recreating the childlike clay texture with a substantial size of approximately 7 cm. The lineup includes 6 movie characters: Shinnosuke Nohara, Toppema, Hender-kun, the homosexual twin demons Macao and Joma, and Snowman Pappan.
