Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY presents its latest product, the "Hitori Gotoh" 1/7 scale PVC painted finished figure, based on the TV anime "Bocchi the Rock!". It is priced at 15,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2024.
"Bocchi the Rock!" (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！), centered around the theme "If you're an introvert, go play rock!", tells the story of "Hitori Gotoh", a high school girl with severe social anxiety and a school outcast. She practiced guitar diligently from a young age, hoping to gain attention from her classmates and become a rock star! However, her gloomy personality and inability to interact well with others prevented her from forming a band. She could only transform into "Guitar Hero" and upload guitar videos online, until she met Nijika from Shimokitazawa High. Together with Ryo, Ikuyo, and others, they formed the "Kessoku Band," where she serves as the lead guitarist. Her bandmates affectionately nicknamed her "Bocchi."
The "Hitori Gotoh" 1/7 scale PVC painted finished figure stands approximately 24.5 cm tall. She is depicted wearing her classic pink tracksuit jacket and carrying her beloved guitar~ Her face shows an anxious expression, and the way she clutches her bag with both hands reveals her introverted personality. Although the pose is a simple standing one, details such as the guitar case, leather shoes, and hair accessories are faithfully reproduced~ The inner packaging features a background paper printed with actual scenery from the anime, allowing collectors to display and enjoy the figure directly within its packaging!
