Japanese toy manufacturer "State of the Art" (SO-TA Co., Ltd., abbreviated as SO-TA), which has released numerous capsule toys and rebranded itself as "STUDIO SO-TA" (スタジオソータ), is set to release the second product in its "Musume Doku Series," "Maizokai -Psyche-", scheduled for release in December 2023.
This "Maizokai -Psyche-" capsule toy, released by STUDIO SO-TA, is the second product in the "Musume Doku Series" (娘毒シリーズ), a collaboration with Japanese sculptor "Chibitank." The "Maizokai" piece is themed around "moths," possessing a different kind of splendor compared to the first product, "Kerokushi -Arachne-," which was themed around spiders. By separating and reassembling the main body, base, and accessories, the appearance of the moth girl is recreated. It stands approximately 13 cm tall.
This product is available in both a capsule toy version and a box toy version. The difference is that the box toy version is priced higher, and the pose of the figure in the box toy version is also different. Additionally, it includes a mask that can be worn or removed, offering an alternative style. Furthermore, if pre-ordered through the official SO-TA store, two exclusive body parts will be included as a bonus.
