BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product from its Kamen Rider Shokugan『SO-DO CHRONICLE』series: the「Kamen Rider OOO Tajador Combo & AQUA Set」, originating from《Kamen Rider OOO》, scheduled for release in December 2023. This product will be exclusively sold on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The Kamen Rider figures in the『SO-DO CHRONICLE』Shokugan series stand approximately 10 cm tall, featuring intricate sculpting and articulation, with some parts already pre-painted. Products are typically divided into two types:【A】Body Set and【B】Armor Set. Once collected, these can be combined to form the Kamen Rider's main body and its dedicated weaponry. Included color-correction stickers can further enhance the appearance to better match the on-screen portrayal. However, this particular set requires no part collection; it directly includes the「Kamen Rider OOO Tajador Combo」with significantly increased painted areas, and a completely newly sculpted「Kamen Rider AQUA」. Both Riders received very high demand in surveys.
The painted areas on the「Kamen Rider OOO Tajador Combo」have increased approximately fourfold. Elements such as the eagle emblem on the forehead, the chest disc, and the shield, which were previously rendered with stickers, are now fully painted, significantly enhancing the overall quality. It also includes articulated wing parts and leg claw parts to recreate its special move,「Prominence Slash」.
Meanwhile,「Kamen Rider AQUA」, from《Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO Movie War Mega Max》, is produced with a completely new sculpt. Its blue body features various silver lines faithfully recreated through paintwork, and it comes with 3 pairs of interchangeable posed hands.
