From Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series 'POP UP PARADE', following Akko Kagari, today they have once again announced the latest product from TRIGGER's popular original anime "Little Witch Academia", "Sucy Manbavaran", scheduled for release in February 2024.
One of protagonist Akko's best friends, Sucy Manbavaran, is a rather gloomy-looking, self-willed, and sharp-tongued poison enthusiast. She has extensive knowledge of toxins from both animal sources like spiders and snakes, and plant sources like mushrooms. She is particularly thrilled by the wide variety of poisonous mushrooms and often concocts various poisons in her room, even using Akko as a test subject. Sucy's eccentric and distinct personality has earned her considerable popularity both in Japan and overseas.
The "POP UP PARADE Sucy Manbavaran" is a pre-painted figure standing approximately 17 cm tall. Its design faithfully captures Sucy's gloomy and eccentric image, holding a poisonous mushroom, rendered in an exaggerated cartoon style based on the anime. It features her sickly, sleep-deprived facial features, long hair covering half her face, and even recreates the tentacle-like skirt design at the base of the figure. The product is priced at the series' standard affordable price of 4,800 JPY (tax included), making it an excellent collectible for "Little Witch Academia", which has relatively few figures.
