Kotobukiya, the Japanese model kit manufacturer, is set to release its latest popular product in the new Bishoujo plastic model kit series, "ARCANADEA"—the beast-folk "ELEAN"! With a suggested retail price of 9,790 JPY, she is scheduled for release in February 2024!
The "ARCANADEA" series is a plastic model kit line themed around "Sci-Fi x Fantasy." Its world-building is set in the near future, where Eden Industries, utilizing the newly discovered next-generation energy "Arcana Particles," created the popular virtual reality massively multiplayer online game (VRMMO) "Arcanadea." Players can freely explore the mysterious realm of "Arcanadea," filled with fantastical creatures and monsters, bringing people an extraordinary alternate reality.
"ARCANADEA ELEAN" is based on illustrations by artist "Z-Ton" and, through its plastic model kit specifications, faithfully recreates her irresistible centaur design! Once assembled, the kit stands approximately 183 mm tall, utilizing multi-color molded parts and partially pre-painted parts to extensively reproduce her alluring beast-folk appearance. With interchangeable parts, she can easily be displayed in two forms: "Normal Mode" and the combat-ready "Willize Mode." The base of her horse tail moves via a connecting shaft, allowing it to swing freely with her pose. The humanoid waist and lower body are connected at three points via ball joints, allowing for charming poses such as lying down or sitting like a horse!
Accessories include 4 pre-printed interchangeable face parts, water-slide decals for creating custom expressions, and 5 pairs of interchangeable PVC hand parts. Additionally, two types of spearhead parts are included, allowing for the recreation of two different forms for her large spear. As an original plastic model kit mechanism, by combining different weapons and lower body parts, she can be recreated with the appearance of a "warhorse"! Face parts and back magic circle parts are interchangeable with other ARCANADEA series kits. Furthermore, each part is designed with a common 3mm joint connection, and a neck joint part is included to connect heads from the Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device series, allowing for customization with many other plastic model kits released by Kotobukiya.
