Japanese toy company Gecco is set to release a 1/6 scale statue of Maria, the female character from KONAMI's classic horror game Silent Hill 2, scheduled for release between February and March 2024. The price is 42,000 JPY.

Released by KONAMI in 2001 on the PS2 console, Silent Hill 2 is the second installment in the series, with its plot also revolving around the mysterious town of Silent Hill. The story of the second game describes how the protagonist, James Sunderland, one day receives a letter sent three years prior by his deceased wife, Mary, which reads, "I'm waiting for you in our special place."
James sets off to uncover the truth. Along the way, he encounters Maria, a mysterious woman who bears a striking resemblance to his deceased wife but possesses a completely different demeanor. The two travel together, facing numerous dangers, and James slowly recalls the truth of the events from three years ago. Maria also has her own independent chapter in the later enhanced version, Born from a Wish, which explains her story before meeting James.
▼Game trailer for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake:
This 1/6 scale Maria statue from Silent Hill 2, released by Gecco, stands approximately 29 cm tall. It faithfully recreates her appearance from the game. Maria has golden hair and a provocative outfit, with the overall clothing in a dark pink hue, even matching the nail polish on her fingers. Her two-piece attire, paired with long leather boots, reveals the butterfly tattoo on her waist, giving her a bold and wild look. The choker accessory around her neck and the ornaments on her leopard-print mini-skirt are also meticulously reproduced. Her right hand comes with two interchangeable versions: a regular hand and one holding a handgun. The base she stands on features sidewalk bricks and iron railings, perfectly capturing the atmosphere of the original game. Overall, this is an exceptionally detailed figure statue.
