Japanese designer toy brand REDSHARK, in collaboration with the unique Japanese gallery Hakaba Gallery (墓場の画廊), is scheduled to release the "Jagi (Colored Version)" soft vinyl figure from "Fist of the North Star" on Hakaba Gallery's online store from September 25 to October 10, 2023! Shipping is expected to begin in December 2023.
The story of "Fist of the North Star" is set in a world devastated by nuclear weapons, where the seas have dried up and the land has cracked, creating a strong apocalyptic atmosphere. Surviving humans, in their struggle for resources, adhere to the law of the jungle where might makes right. Powerful organizations and nations exist everywhere, and brutal acts of burning, killing, and looting are constantly unfolding. Jagi, the third of the four Hokuto brothers, is not only unskilled but also possesses a terrible personality. After being disfigured when he ambushed Kenshiro out of resentment for Kenshiro being chosen as the successor to Hokuto Shinken, he became a bandit leader, impersonating Kenshiro's name and scars to commit evil deeds.
After releasing various uncolored versions of Jagi, this memorable villain, known for his classic line "Say My Name!", returns once again. Standing approximately 20 cm tall, he is reinterpreted with an approximately four-head-tall proportion. The overall chibi-style proportion and slightly oversized head are extremely appealing. Intricate details are applied to the chest scar, helmet design, muscle lines, battle-damaged armor, and more. The colored version of Jagi's attire adopts a primary palette of black, gold, and dark brown, departing from the original setting's heavier, darker color scheme, giving this piece a more toy-like feel. The movable arms, when raised, spread outwards, conveying an air of unparalleled arrogance.
