The "Dollfie Dream" (DD) line from the long-standing Japanese hobby manufacturer Volks has joined forces with the hit anime SPY×FAMILY to release the latest "Chimikko DD Anya Forger" action figure! With a reference price of 68,200 JPY, it is scheduled for release in Autumn 2024 (Pre-order period: October 6 – November 26, 2023).
Formerly known as "Subject 007" from a certain organization's human experiments, Anya Forger possesses the psychic ability to read minds. After escaping the research facility and adopting the name "Anya," she cycled through various orphanages and foster families before being adopted by the master spy Loid Forger (codename: Twilight). Her foster mother is the professional assassin Yor. The three formed a makeshift family while concealing their true identities to execute a major mission that impacts world peace. Enrolled in the prestigious Eden Academy under the claim of being 6 years old, Anya constantly strives to befriending Damian Desmond—the second son of the National Unity Party chairman—to help her father complete his mission.
This release utilizes the newest and smallest body in the DD series, the "Chimikko DD," to bring the incredibly popular Anya Forger to life! Despite its compact size, the body achieves a high level of articulation while capturing Anya's adorable charm. To recreate her sparkling, moist eyes, special oval-shaped resin anime eyes were used—it's essentially Damian’s "love-struck" perspective! ♥ Other signature features include her pink hair and magnetic hair ornaments for easy attachment. Her slightly parted mouth is absolutely endearing! (The mouth area is sculpted flat, with lip effects meticulously rendered through makeup application.)
The outfit is the elegant Eden Academy uniform, featuring a gold-trimmed dress, a shirt adorned with the school emblem, and a red ribbon tie—every detail is crafted to perfection. The set also includes the essential school hat and satchel, along with delicate accessories like shorts, underwear, socks, and shoes, allowing for a variety of poses and scenes! (Casual home wear is sold separately as a distinct set.)
