Released by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the original model kit series "30MINUTES MISSIONS," known for its quick assembly, easy customization, and full display of mass-produced machine charm, today announced its latest product, the "1/144 bEXM-C14TS Cielnova Custom (Space Specification)," scheduled for release in December 2023.
The bEXM-C14TS Cielnova Custom (Space Specification) originates from the new project "ANOTHER EXAMACS PLAN," which focuses on hero machines that turn the tide of battle. This unit's design concept was handled by Toshiaki Ihara, and it has been brought to life with new weapon sculpts under the supervision of mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa. In its lore, this machine is a special operations unit deployed in space by the Byron Army. It is larger than the standard Cielnova, boasting superior attitude control, endurance, and wide-range precision detection capabilities. It can accurately grasp battlefield unit deployment and terrain information, and inflict fatal damage on enemy units with its special weapon, the "Drive Rifle," which fires ultra-high-speed energy projectiles.
The "30MM 1/144 bEXM-C14TS Cielnova Custom (Space Specification)" kit is based on the previously released standard version, featuring new parts to recreate the distinct head, chest, shoulders, calves, and other armor, as well as its dedicated weapon, the "Drive Rifle." All parts are composed of various shades of gray, reproducing the special space-specification paint scheme. Accessories include newly designed water-slide decals to enhance body details, and the head's mono-eye camera is crafted with a 3D lens sticker that offers a sense of depth and translucency.
Regarding weaponry, in addition to the main unit's equipped Drive Rifle, shield, additional thrusters, and fuel tanks, the product also includes a wealth of accessories such as various head customization parts, sub-arms, multiple melee and ranged weapons, and additional armor. These can be freely selected and expanded using the common 3mm pegs to assemble unique customized forms!
