Japanese toy company SpiceSeed (スパイスシード) previously announced the first installment of their "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Series," "Myst-Vearn" (ミストバーン), from "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai." The painted prototype has finally been revealed and is scheduled for its first public display at the "SpiceSeed Festival 2023 in OSAKA" on October 8, 2023!
Myst-Vearn is the commander of the Shadow Legion, one of the Six Great Legions of the Great Demon King, led by Demon Army Commander "Hadlar." He is extremely mysterious, calm, and resourceful. In the early parts of the story, he appears without a face, and beneath his wide white robe is actually an aggregation of dark aura.
This "Myst-Vearn" created by SpiceSeed stands at a height of 33 cm and is crafted from resin. It faithfully recreates his iconic head, wide white robe, chest necklace, spiked combat boots, and the golden glow emanating from the center of his body. In addition to applying a heavy metallic finish to silver parts such as the mask, gloves, and boots, the dynamic sculpting of the flowing attire is also exceptional. The overall piece perfectly conveys Myst-Vearn's mysterious aura and imposing presence!
