The "TOWER OF BARAD DÛR" environment statue is now available for pre-order on WETA's official website, with shipping expected in Q1 2024.
Barad-dûr, also known as the Dark Tower, is the colossal fortress built by Sauron in Mordor during the Second Age using the power of the One Ring. The Eye of Sauron atop the tower is one of the most iconic symbols in the entire work.
This "TOWER OF BARAD DÛR" from WETA stands approximately 19 cm tall and is crafted from high-quality polystone. It meticulously recreates the appearance of this tower-shaped fortress, the rock face behind it, the molten lava, and the Eye of Sauron at its pinnacle. While primarily black, it features realistic rust marks and weathering effects, along with intricate architectural details that give the entire piece a rich sense of depth. The translucent, seemingly burning Eye of Sauron can even be freely removed, and displaying it alongside the Black Gate would undoubtedly be magnificent.
