Japanese toy brand Kaiyodo's "Amazing Yamaguchi (アメコミヤマグチ)" articulated figure series, known for its astonishing super-posability, has fully unveiled its latest character joining the My Hero Academia lineup: "Shota Aizawa" (Aizawa Shōta)! Scheduled for release in March 2024.
September 20, 2023 Update:
The "Amazing Yamaguchi Shota Aizawa" stands approximately 16 cm tall. In addition to faithfully recreating his long black hair, plain black attire, and the capture weapon wrapped around his neck, this figure incorporates the series' unique joints while maintaining accurate body proportions. This allows the figure to reproduce both Aizawa-sensei's usual relaxed demeanor and his dynamic combat poses as "Eraser Head." The characteristic spiky hair when activating his Quirk can also be achieved with interchangeable parts. Combined with hair parts featuring his goggles and multiple interchangeable expressions, a wide range of poses can be enjoyed. However, the gaps in the calf area are still quite alarming! You might need to pay extra attention to angles when posing and photographing.
▼ This time, a special bonus for purchases made at Kaiyodo's direct stores is an unmasked head sculpt that is uncharacteristically gentle and looks a bit disheveled, allowing you to display a completely different side of Aizawa-sensei.
▼ In addition to the abundant interchangeable head parts, accessories also include a knife, a small pouch worn at the waist, multiple interchangeable hands, and various capture weapons.
