Japan's official Gunpla flagship store for "Mobile Suit Gundam," GUNDAM BASE, recently announced that the latest limited item from "Gundam Build Fighters Battlogue," the "HG 1/144 Build Strike Galaxy Cosmos [Plavsky Particle Clear Ver.]," is scheduled to be available for sale in stores starting October 07, 2023.
The Build Strike Galaxy Cosmos is a new mobile suit improved by protagonist Sei Iori from his Gunpla "Star Build Strike Gundam" used in the 8th World Tournament. Based on its original silhouette, numerous armor details on the head, chest, shoulders, and legs have been modified. It is also equipped with a new variable support unit, the "Galaxy Booster," on its back. When separated, it can act as a support unit for reconnaissance. When combined, its 12 wings can be used as particle control antennas, significantly enhancing its overall performance by utilizing Plavsky Particles. It can also simultaneously activate both the "RG System" and "Star System" to maximize its performance in a short period.
The "HG 1/144 Build Strike Galaxy Cosmos [Plavsky Particle Clear Ver.]" is a modified version of the regular kit released in 2018. The molding colors of the parts have been replaced with clear white, clear red, clear blue, clear yellow, clear pink, and colorless clear, all containing a large amount of glitter. It boasts high transparency and a sparkling particle effect, recreating its appearance in the show where its entire body shines with Plavsky Particle light after activating the "RG System."
Other parts remain the same as the regular version. The main body features a flexible movable joint design and includes a beam saber, shield, display stand, and a beam rifle that can recreate its transformation mechanism. The Galaxy Booster can also recreate its transformation into a support unit after separation, allowing for various battle poses.
