Japan's X-PLUS Co., Ltd. (株式会社エクスプラス)'s super popular exquisite Q-version scale figure series, DefoReal, will release a new product based on the monster film "Gamera 3": the "Nightmare Gamera" pre-painted finished figure. It will be available in a regular edition and a "Shonen RIC" store exclusive edition, with an estimated release in January 2024.

The monster Gamera (ガメラ), who appeared in the Heisei Gamera trilogy, is set as a biological weapon created by a super ancient civilization approximately 150 million years ago to defeat the man-eating monster "Gyaos." It was made using ancient technology and the Earth's life energy, "Mana," and can combine oxygen with its internal plasma energy to unleash powerful "fireballs."

The "DefoReal Nightmare Gamera" pre-painted finished figure stands approximately 12 cm tall and is presented in a 2.5-head-tall proportion. Based on its appearance in Ayana's nightmare, it meticulously captures Gamera's sharp head crest, layered jagged carapace, festering mouth, and characteristic white eyes, all while retaining a touch of cuteness. The thick, rough-textured skin, sharp claws, and yellowish giant fangs and teeth are all delicately sculpted, and the moist, glossy texture inside the mouth gives it a remarkably realistic, biological feel!
