Among the popular shokugan series FW GUNDAM CONVERGE, released by BANDAI CANDY, the shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., the 'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE ♯' series, which boasts more intricate and bold designs and is designated with the "♯ (Sharp)" symbol, today announced information on its latest 24th installment, slated for release in February 2024.
'FW GUNDAM CONVERGE ♯' transforms mobile suits from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series into 55mm tall SD proportions, featuring sharp, cool designs and high-density details. This product lineup will include the final protagonist mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," "Gundam Aerial"; "Re-GZ" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack"; "Re-GZ (UC Ver.)" from "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn"; and "Zaku Tank" from "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV."
The most anticipated additions are the two new mobile suits from the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM": "Rising Freedom Gundam" and "Immortal Justice Gundam." Both are produced with completely new sculpts, faithfully reproducing the rich and complex color schemes from their designs, and come equipped with armaments such as beam rifles and shields. However, their characteristic MA (Mobile Armor) forms and the beam deployment mechanism of their shields are not reproduced.
