The new item, "Godzilla (1972)," is based on the film "Godzilla vs. Gigan" (Earth Attack Command: Godzilla vs. Gigan), with a reference price of 11,000 JPY, and is scheduled for release in February 2024!
The 12th film in the "Godzilla" series, "Godzilla vs. Gigan" (Earth Attack Command: Godzilla vs. Gigan), was released in 1972. The plot describes how the M Space Hunter Nebula Aliens, in their bid to invade Earth, transformed a space dinosaur into the vicious half-machine, half-biological monster Gigan, and manipulated King Ghidorah to attack. Gigan's laser beam cannon, scythe-like giant hammer hands, and other weapons displayed astonishing combat power, causing the King of the Monsters, Godzilla, to bleed and even fall into a desperate situation where he was almost defeated.
The "S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (1972)" stands approximately 16 cm tall. Yuji Sakai (酒井ゆうじ), the foremost Godzilla sculptor and veteran monster原型師 (monster原型師), served as the sculptor, colorist, and overall production director. Based on film data from the time, the figure thoroughly recreates the monster suit's appearance from the movie! It faithfully reproduces features such as sharp eyes, rough skin texture, and dorsal fins. Through precise articulation splits and joint design, it achieves dynamic poses! Additionally, it includes a replaceable head part depicting the injury sustained during the battle with Gigan, allowing fans to enjoy Godzilla's rare disfigured look!
