BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan today announced the latest product from the "SD Gundam World HEROES" model kit series' new side story project, "Kirahagane Story": the "Tenka Musou Daishogun", slated for release on March 16, 2024.
The second installment of the side story, "SD Gundam World HEROES Kirahagane Story," written by Toshimitsu Takeuchi, will be released online as a series of five short illustrated stories. This time, the stage is set in the Musha World within the SD Gundam World. In addition to returning characters like Goku Impulse Gundam and Nobunaga Gundam Epyon, new characters such as the 78th Generation Musha Gundam and Himitsu Aerial Gundam will also be added. Among them, the Tenka Musou Daishogun is a brand-new form enhanced from Nobunaga Gundam Epyon.
The "SDW HEROES Tenka Musou Daishogun" is constructed with multiple molded color parts and color-correcting stickers. It features rich, detailed sculpting on its parts despite its SD scale. The elbow joints this time boast a more flexible design, allowing for dynamic posing with its various weapon accessories.
Its weapon accessories include the "Giant Cannon" featuring a magnificent phoenix head, the "Heshikiri Hasebe" sword which can be drawn from the cannon's rear, and two massive cannons on its back, the "Tenka Musou Tekkouhou - Zekkuu," which can be rotated forward for firing.
Furthermore, by combining the backpack and weapons, the "Zetsurei Houou" support mechanism can be completed. Then, by combining the Zetsurei Houou with the Tenka Musou Daishogun, the high-speed mobility form "Chouzetsu Houou" can be assembled. When paired with the separately sold special effect parts "Zettou - Kishakuryuusen" for Nobunaga and Dark Nobunaga, an even more enhanced Chouzetsu Houou can be recreated. In Daishogun form, "Zettou - Kishakuryuusen" can also be freely customized by attaching it to various 3mm axes, and the effect parts can even be connected infinitely.
This product does not include "Kirahagane" parts; instead, they are included with the separately sold "SDW HEROES Himitsu Aerial Gundam". The Kirahagane parts utilize the "IMD In-Mold Decoration molded parts" technique, a production method once thought lost. This technique imprints rich and vibrant patterns in red, blue, and gold onto clear green injection-molded parts, which can then be equipped onto the Daishogun's chest armor.
