Japanese company Design COCO (株式会社デザインココ), specializing in life-size statues and scale figures, has announced its latest product from the popular mobile game "Azur Lane": the "Émile Bertin Swimsuit Skin [Côte d'Azur]" 1/4 scale PVC pre-painted figure! Pre-orders are now open at the online store COCO STORE, with an estimated release in October 2024.
In the world of "Azur Lane," Émile Bertin is an SR-class light cruiser belonging to the Iris Libre faction. Her default in-game illustration depicts a dynamic blonde beauty in a puffy-skirted dress, with her prototype being the French Navy's Émile Bertin-class cruiser. This time, Design COCO has designed the figure based on Émile's alternate outfit, "Côte d'Azur," beautifully recreating her physical charm in a large 1/4 scale! Standing approximately 21.7 cm tall, it features her fluffy golden curly hair, delicate and rosy fair skin, and a light blue swimsuit with large cutouts on the sides and back. Turning to the back reveals her captivating posterior, a sight not visible in the game! Absolutely incredible!
In addition to the impeccable armpits and hip curves, Émile's eyes are also exceptionally rendered. Other details, such as the metallic luster of the pendant, the soft texture of the swimsuit fabric, the swimming ring, the somewhat suggestive torpedo, and the effect of waves crashing on the beach, are all sculpted with high precision. Furthermore, the base features the name "Emile Bertin" as if written by hand in the sand.
