Japanese toy brand Kaiyodo's "Amazing Yamaguchi" (Amekomi Yamaguchi) articulated figure series, known for its astonishing posability, has officially announced its latest DC-themed release, "Supergirl"! It is scheduled to be released starting July 2024.
Updated December 13, 2023:
This "Amazing Yamaguchi Supergirl," sculpted by Shotaro Sakamoto and overseen by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi as production director, stands approximately 16 cm tall. Not only does she boast a well-defined, curvaceous physique, but with her flowing golden hair and youthful, beautiful girl head sculpt, the overall impression exudes the charm of a superstar idol! Her costume faithfully recreates the classic red and blue battle suit, with the prominent "S" emblem on her chest and a golden belt serving as striking accents. The fabric-sewn red cape also features an internal wire for free posing. Coupled with interchangeable head sculpts (smiling and angry, both with articulated eyes) and multiple interchangeable hands, she's ready to perform... no, to strike magnificent and adorable combat poses!
▼ Supergirl! Making a grand entrance!
▼ Rest assured, citizens, you are safe with Supergirl!
▼ Villains, don't even think about causing more trouble!
▼ Otherwise, I'll beat you so badly your own parents won't recognize you!
Purchases made at Kaiyodo's directly managed stores will include an exclusive bonus: an interchangeable head sculpt featuring a Heat Vision effect, adding even more dynamic playability!
