KADOKAWA's KDcolle (KADOKAWA COLLECTION), which has released numerous anime and manga character figures, is launching a new product line, "KADOKAWA COLLECTION LIGHT". In March 2024, they are scheduled to release a PVC figure of one of the heroines from the popular series Mushoku Tensei, "Roxy Migurdia" (ロキシー・ミグルディア)! The price is 6,380 JPY.
The Japanese light novel Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (無職転生〜異世界行ったら本気だす〜) is a Japanese light novel series written by Japanese author "Rifujin na Magote" (理不尽な孫の手), with illustrations by Shirotaka (シロタカ, Shiro Taka). It began serialization on the web novel site "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" in November 2012, comprising twenty-four chapters. The story follows a 34-year-old jobless, shut-in NEET who, after being kicked out of his home on the day of his parents' funeral, dies in a truck accident while trying to save someone. He awakens to find himself reincarnated in another world as a boy named Rudeus.
In the original work, Roxy Migurdia is Rudeus's magic teacher during his childhood. Hailing from the "Migurd" demon race, she appears as a young girl, but was already in her thirties when she first met the protagonist. She is also a Water King-level magician and an A-rank adventurer. Admiring Rudeus's high magical talent, she continued her travels after teaching him. When she met Rudeus again, she fell in love with the much-grown boy. After the protagonist experienced the pain of losing his father, Roxy offered him comfort and herself, later becoming his second wife.
This Roxy figure from the KDcolleLIGHT series stands approximately 16 cm tall and comes with a dedicated base. She is depicted in her usual standard attire, without her hat, revealing her long blue hair. Uncharacteristically, she forms a V-sign with her hand above her head, giving her a bright and adorable appearance. Every detail on the figure is exquisitely crafted, from her twin tails, the magic book she holds behind her back, and her flowing skirt, to her fair legs. Furthermore, she comes with two interchangeable facial expressions, making Roxy's appearance truly delightful!
