Japanese model maker MEGAHOUSE's popular character-catification figure series "MEGA CAT PROJECT" recently announced two new products from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury", "Suletta Mercury" and "Miorine Rembran", scheduled for release in March 2024.
"MEGA CAT PROJECT" is a figure series that transforms many popular characters into adorable cat forms, retaining the characters' original costume features and integrating their hair colors into the cats' fur patterns, showcasing amusing forms impossible to achieve in the original work. This time, the two popular heroines from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury", Suletta and Miorine, have been designed as adorable Mercury big cats, boasting a size of 10 cm, three times larger than previous standard products!
"Suletta" and "Miorine" are presented in their usual round, super-cute two-head-tall cat forms. Their bodies are based on the Asticassia School of Technology uniform, creating a cat version with only the upper half. Their facial features similarly use characteristic dot-like black eyes and an ω-shaped cat mouth, with Suletta's dotted eyebrows and Miorine's sharp gaze expressing their individual personalities. Compared to previous products with simple cat silhouettes, these two cats also reproduce intricate hairstyles and headwear, allowing the charm of both characters to be felt at a glance.
