BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division in Japan recently announced the latest product from the popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts', the "Ultraman Decker Strong Type" from Ultraman Decker, slated for release in March 2024.
Ultraman Decker inherits elements such as the three-form transformation from the masterpiece Ultraman Dyna, released 25 years ago, while also incorporating numerous new designs and different story developments to create a new generation of Dyna. The story is set seven years after its predecessor, Ultraman Trigger. The protagonist, Kanata Asumi, a courageous helper, confronts the "Sphere" invasion of Earth with his bare hands but is consumed. He unexpectedly merges with Ultraman Decker, gaining the ability to transform into a giant of light, and subsequently resolves to join GUTS-SELECT to protect Earth.
The "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Decker Strong Type" released this time is a super-strength form specialized for power. Its overall design was created with the cooperation of Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, faithfully reproducing the in-show appearance, including the nebula patterns on the head and chest, and the asymmetrical golden armor covering its body. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, its body features flexible articulated joints, allowing for dynamic close-combat poses from the series, complemented by 6 pairs of interchangeable hands, a red light color timer, and a "Cyclone Blaster Punch" special move effect part.
Additionally, the product includes two pairs of hand parts for the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Decker Flash Type", allowing for the recreation of Decker Asumi's unique combat poses during transformation.
