Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the 'METAL ROBOT魂' series, which combines metallic texture painting and an alloy frame, today announced the latest product from the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM", the "Immortal Justice Gundam", scheduled for release in February 2024.
The Immortal Justice Gundam is a new mobile suit appearing in the theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM". Its appearance and weaponry are closer to the ZGMF-X09A Justice Gundam, but it possesses a transformation mechanism into MA (Mobile Armor) form. Besides its beam rifle, the Immortal Justice Gundam's main armaments are still various close-combat beam weapons. The new shield features both offensive and defensive capabilities, able to deploy wings and beam blades to assault enemy mobile suits. Unlike previous tactics that required boarding a back-mounted support unit, the main body itself can directly transform into MA form for high-mobility flight.
The "METAL ROBOT魂 Immortal Justice Gundam" features a sharp and formidable armor design, complemented by rich metallic paintwork and body marking prints, faithfully recreating the complex color blocking and high-density details seen in the film. Its main joints are crafted from alloy parts, providing both a substantial metallic feel and a satisfying weight during handling. The overall articulation design is flexible, allowing for dynamic posing, including the signature flying and combat stances of the SEED series. The impressive size of the back wings is further enhanced by multiple movable axes, allowing them to deploy in various directions.
Regarding its armaments, it includes a new beam rifle, beam sabers, leg beam blades, and the new offensive/defensive shield, which can recreate its deployed state with beam effects. Furthermore, the product also features calf wing deployment and a head storage mechanism, allowing for the recreation of its prone MA form transformation without the need for part swapping.
