BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, a popular character model kit series "Figure-rise Standard", today announced the latest product "Chuchu Panlunch" from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury", scheduled for release in February 2024.
Chuchu Panlunch is a pilot course student from Earth House at Asticassia School of Technology, affectionately called "Chuchu" by close friends like Nika. Her two marshmallow-like hair buns seem to intimidate others, and she possesses a fiery, impulsive personality, even using her gun as a blunt weapon while piloting a mobile suit. This often leads to conflicts, especially in a school where Spacians discriminate against Earthians. However, Chuchu's strong sense of responsibility and chivalry are quite endearing, as she frequently stands up for her friends.
The "Figure-rise Standard Chuchu Panlunch" utilizes Bandai's cutting-edge part separation and color molding technology to recreate her complex hair styling and layered outfit, with the entire costume's colors extensively reproduced using multiple molded plastic colors. The neck and legs feature articulated joints, while the sleeves of her arms achieve shoulder and elbow articulation through segmented parts. Furthermore, by swapping out lower body parts, the figure can recreate both the "Asian squat" and "seiza" (or "sports sit") poses.
The face parts include one pre-printed "normal face" and two additional expressions that require the use of the included water decals. Accessories also include a display stand, a smartphone-style student handbook, an adjustable wrench, an open-end wrench, and 10 types of interchangeable hand parts, allowing for the recreation of various scenes from the series!
