Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's new combining robot toy series "UNITROBORN (ユニトロボーン)" is set to release its latest mind-bending product, the "UNITROBO Anomalocaris Hot Dog" combining robot! The suggested retail price is 2,750 JPY, with an estimated release in November 2023.
UNITROBORN is a brand new original toy series that inherits the legacy of Bandai's early "Machine Robo" toys. The story is set around mechanical lifeforms called "UTA-ZO" who came to Earth from space. To protect Earth's peace, they can use their songs to instantly combine any nearby objects of the same color into robots. Lobsters and apples, sharks and vending machines, hamburgers and bulldozers... all sorts of imaginative combinations can merge into powerful robots to defeat the mysterious enemies causing chaos.
The "UNITROBO Anomalocaris Hot Dog" combining robot, a highlight of the series, emphasizes retaining the original forms of the objects before combination. It brings together the unexpected "Anomalocaris" and "Hot Dog," featuring a clever transformation and combination mechanism. Simply align the combination pegs, and it will naturally spring open and transform! By combining the leg and neck joint parts, it can expand and transform into a Brachiosaurus-type robot approximately 15 cm tall. It's utterly baffling how they connect, yet they form a single entity – truly fascinating!
