Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" is releasing its latest product, the "POP UP PARADE Ushio Kofune" PVC figure, based on the anime "Summer Time"! The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2024!
Ushio Kofune, the heroine of Yasuki Tanaka's manga "Summer Time," is the protagonist Shinpei Ajiro's childhood friend, the eldest daughter of the Kofune family, and Mio's older sister. Being of French-Japanese descent, she has dazzling blonde hair and blue eyes. Ushio is cheerful, optimistic, full of energy, and always eager to help others. She has loved Shinpei since childhood, but before she could express her feelings, Shinpei left Hitogashima for Tokyo. When they met again, it was at Ushio's funeral. However, a few days after the funeral, Shinpei encounters Ushio again on the beach, on her way to the Summer Festival...
The "POP UP PARADE Ushio Kofune" PVC figure stands approximately 16 cm tall, recreating Ushio's appearance in a one-piece swimsuit, reappearing on the beach during the Summer Festival. Her turning pose allows her waist-length hair to flow gracefully, and the subtle expression on her face is incredibly charming. The form-fitting blue swimsuit further accentuates Ushio's fair skin, and the wrinkles around her hips are a perfect touch!
