Hong Kong toy design brand Kaiju One (One Studio), which recently unveiled a "Devilman" soft vinyl figure at the 20th TTF, is collaborating with Japan's unique art gallery, Hakaba Gallery (Hakaba no Garou), to release the red version of the "Devilman" (デビルマン) soft vinyl toy on October 29, 2023, at Hakaba Gallery Nakano store and Hakaba Gallery ONLINE STORE!
This new color "Devilman" stands approximately 20 cm tall and is primarily based on the style of the original "Devilman" manga cover. In response to the new color, some parts of the body have been restyled, including a more ferocious Devilman head, clawed arms, legs sculpted to evoke Devilman's furry texture, and exposed feet, showcasing a fierce and brutal appearance that differs from the cuter tone of the previous release! Therefore, even though the Devilman soft vinyl figure was just seen at "TTF 2023," this red version still possesses strong appeal! After all, it's not just a simple color swap.
Of course, this Devilman (Red) soft vinyl figure also retains a major feature from the previous release: the Devilman mask can be removed to reveal the head of "Akira Fudo." The Akira Fudo head sculpt also has significant differences from the previous version, such as the hair being painted in dark blue, and the pupils of both eyes changed to red, with a confident smile exuding an untamed wildness.
