Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE has announced the latest product from its 'MACHINE BUILD' series, a semi-finished model line that recreates internal structures, featuring "SKIURE" from "Mobile Suit Gundam", scheduled for release in January 2024.

In contrast to the Earth Federation Forces' Mobile Beam Cannon (Bustliner), the Zeon Army's space mobile artillery platform "SKIURE (スキウレ)" is also a support mechanism originating from the "MS-X" model project. During the One Year War, the MEGA Particle Cannon used on the mobile armor MA-05 Bigro was redesigned to a specification that allowed mobile suits to operate its trigger. This was then mounted on a space-use transport platform equipped with fuel tanks and thrusters, thereby compensating for the lack of cruising range and firepower of mobile suits like the Zaku during space combat.

The "MACHINE BUILD SKIURE" is produced at the same 1/144 scale as Bandai's Gunpla, boasting a large size with a total height of approximately 19 cm and a total length of 22 cm, allowing HG series and 1/144 scale model kits to ride on it. The overall design largely reproduces the detailed cannon barrel, sights, trigger, control levers, and multi-directional nozzles on the platform as seen in the original design sketches.

The four-directional thruster nozzles beneath the platform can rotate in multiple directions, and the central fuel tank is fully detachable. The scope and searchlight parts are made of clear material, while the cannon barrel support and scope also feature telescopic and movable mechanisms, allowing for adjustment to match the height of a mobile suit. Furthermore, by replacing parts of the cannon barrel support, Gunpla Zaku machine guns, Zaku bazookas, and other armaments can be mounted.
