Issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division, the original plastic model series "30MINUTES MISSIONS", known for its quick assembly, easy customization, and full display of mass-produced machine charm, recently announced the release of its latest product, "30MM 1/144 eEXM GIG-C02 Provedel (type-COMMAND 02)", scheduled for January 2024.
The eEXM GIG-C02 Provedel (type-COMMAND 02) is a commander-use specification of the previously released Provedel. It features a newly molded head part that reproduces a communication antenna, and the entire unit's parts are molded in an off-white color scheme. Aside from these changes, it is fundamentally identical to the standard specification. The most distinctive feature of this unit is its ability to transform into a cool, Tyrannosaurus-like form by swapping parts. Furthermore, the waist section includes a cockpit design, allowing separately sold 30MM and 30MS series units to board and combine into various merged forms.
The kit's design continues the 30MM series' characteristic of easy assembly, utilizing a parts structure that requires no internal embedding or clamping, significantly reducing assembly difficulty. However, its size is approximately twice that of other units, featuring a much larger and more exaggerated proportion for both its torso and limbs. In addition to heavy armor and ranged weaponry, its tail is also an ultra-long, multi-jointed claw. Furthermore, numerous 3mm universal expansion ports are located throughout the body, allowing for extensive customization using separately sold 30MM dedicated expansion armaments.
