HEXA GEAR Large Combat New Machine "Gertrud" - 36 cm Long, Powerful Size, Slices Enemies with Giant Jaws!

KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese model manufacturer, recently announced the upcoming release of the latest machine in its highly customizable model kit series, "HEXA GEAR," the "Gertrud," slated for April 2024.

The large combat HEXA GEAR "Gertrud" features a six-legged, insect-like walking cockpit, similar to another machine, Blockade Ivy. However, its entire armament has been significantly revamped, now equipped with the new combat crushing weapon "Bitting Scissors," resembling giant jaws, a special flight unit "Ornithopter wing," and a multi-purpose missile pod.

Upon completion, the "HEXA GEAR Gertrud" kit boasts an impressive length of approximately 36 cm. The cockpit and insect leg parts are repurposed from the Blockade Ivy, but feature Gertrud's distinctive purple and white color scheme. The "Bitting Scissors," "Ornithopter wing," and "Multi-purpose Missile" armaments are all reproduced with newly designed parts.

The entire machine features a wealth of articulation mechanisms. The cockpit hatch can open to allow separately sold Governor figures to board. The six insect legs and the Ornithopter wing flight unit boast flexible multi-stage articulation. Furthermore, each hatch of the missile pod has an independent deployment mechanism, allowing for dynamic poses of Gertrud slicing enemies with its giant jaws or preparing to launch missiles from its deployed pods!

Additionally, separate versions of the three new armaments – "Bitting Scissors," "Ornithopter wing," and "Multi-purpose Missile" – are also available for individual sale, featuring the same military green color scheme as the Blockade Ivy. If you already own the Blockade Ivy kit, you can use these to directly transform it into a Gertrud with a different color!
