SQUARE ENIX, a Japanese company, has announced that the latest product in its "BRING ARTS" 6-inch action figure series, "Barret Wallace" from the PlayStation version of "FINAL FANTASY VII," is scheduled for release in April 2024.

The muscular Black man, Barret Wallace, established the resistance organization "Avalanche" to seek revenge against Shinra, which destroyed his hometown and family, took his best friend "Dyne," and his right arm, while also protecting Dyne's orphan, Marlene. He transformed his lost right arm into a mechanical arm capable of firing a gun and leads Wedge, Jessie, Biggs, and the hired former Shinra soldier, Cloud Strife, among others, in their efforts to stop Shinra's relentless draining of the planet's life through a radical "Mako Reactor bombing plan."

The "BRING ARTS Barret Wallace" figure is based on the design illustrated by designer Tetsuya Nomura at the time of the 1997 PlayStation release. In its 6-inch action figure scale, it meticulously recreates the anime-style muscular physique, along with his rugged sleeveless vest, mohawk, and beard. Even the clothing wrinkles and muscle lines faithfully reproduce the sharp brushstrokes from the illustration, and rich color applications are used to recreate shadows. In addition to a dedicated display stand, accessories include an open-palm right hand, allowing for the recreation of his iconic pose stabilizing his right arm while shooting.
