American toy giant Hasbro recently announced the latest collaborative product between its Transformers toy series and the sci-fi horror series Stranger Things: "Code Red"! It will be exclusively available at the well-known American retailer Target and Hasbropulse, with an estimated shipping date of November 26, 2023.
If there's one iconic vehicle from Stranger Things Season 4, Argyle's Volkswagen Vanagon pizza delivery van is definitely high on the list! This new Transformers "Code Red" figure's vehicle mode highly recreates the Surfer Boy Pizza delivery van's goose-yellow body, prominent red sign, and the lettering on the vehicle. The robot mode, achieved in 16 steps, features large areas of gray, a head sculpt that incorporates microphone elements, and eyes that match the cool blue tone of the vehicle's windows. The limbs also boast excellent mechanical detail.
Moving on to the accessories, they include a baseball bat and an axe for close combat, a blaster transformed from the Surfer Boy Pizza sign, blast effects, and a pizza box. What's fantastic is that most of the weapons, in addition to black, are infused with a translucent cool blue that matches the main body, creating a superb visual effect during play!
