Japan's PLEX Co., Ltd. (株式会社プレックス) recently announced the latest product from its "Dragon Ball Arise (ドラゴンボールアライズ)" series: the "Zarbon Transformed Version" (ザーボン 変身Ver.) PVC pre-painted figure! It is scheduled for release in February 2024.
Zarbon (ザーボン) is a member of Frieza's army, and like Dodoria, he is one of Lord Frieza's most trusted subordinates. He is a green-skinned, green-haired handsome man who is usually conscious of his appearance, cruel, cold-blooded, and possesses formidable strength that allows him to remain calm in any situation. After an intense battle with Vegeta in Chapter 262 of the manga, he was initially suppressed by Vegeta. However, to win, he abandoned his adherence to beauty and resolved to unleash his hidden power, transforming in Chapter 263. Not only did his body become significantly larger, but his originally handsome head also transformed into a beast-like appearance. Immediately after transforming, he brutally beat Vegeta with his greatly enhanced power.
The "Dragon Ball Arise Zarbon" stands approximately 28 cm tall, faithfully recreating his transformed, muscular, and considerably robust "ugly brute" appearance. The head sculpt captures a confident, maniacal laugh and features individually sculpted protrusions. Details such as his earrings, headpiece, and the form-fitting armbands on his arms are meticulously reproduced. The dynamic sculpting of his flowing cape is equally realistic! Furthermore, purchasing from the ZEEM online store includes an exclusive bonus: a 20 cm tall Vegeta (達爾) figure, depicted in a highly surprised pose – absolutely fantastic.
