Sentinel, a Japanese toy company, will release an alloy articulated figure of the protagonist robot "Voltron" from the series "Voltron: Legendary Defender" under its RIOBOT movable robot product line in May 2024! The price will be 98,000 Japanese Yen.
"Voltron: Legendary Defender" is an authorized web animated series adapted from the Japanese anime "Beast King GoLion." It was co-produced by World Events Productions and DreamWorks Animation Television, with animation handled by Mir Studio. The movements of the Voltron robot are created using computer animation technology, and its design and appearance also differ slightly from previous iterations.
The story describes how the evil Galra Empire has extended its reach to Earth. Five righteous pilots: Shiro, Keith, Lance, Pidge, and Hunk, pilot five lion-shaped weapons that can combine to form the powerful Voltron, defending against the Galra Empire's invasion. Thus, the story unfolds.
