World-renowned TV and film special effects company "WETA Workshop" has once again unveiled a meticulously crafted full-body statue of "Sauron", following their extensive range of "The Lord of the Rings" merchandise! Shipping is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2024.
This piece, standing at 20.5 cm tall, captures Sauron's imposing physique. The design is based on the opening scene of "The Fellowship of the Ring" film, depicting Sauron in Mount Doom, having just forged the One Ring and raising it aloft. It meticulously recreates Sauron's classic helmet, the black armor covering his entire body, and his dark cloak. The detail of the dagger in his left hand is also fully reproduced, while the One Ring rests in the palm of the Dark Lord's right hand! Although WETA classifies it under their Miniature Statue series, its size actually reaches 7.5 inches, and the price is much more accessible. This will surely be a great option for collectors with limited display space!
