The "Saint Cloth Myth EX" series, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product themed after the live-action film "Saint Seiya The Beginning": the "Pegasus Seiya -Saint Seiya The Beginning" action figure! The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2024.
The live-action film "Saint Seiya The Beginning," adapted from the classic Japanese manga "Saint Seiya," was co-produced by Toei Company and Sony Pictures, with a budget of 8 billion JPY (destroying childhoods). Mackenyu Arata plays the protagonist, Pegasus Seiya. As a child, his sister was kidnapped by an unknown organization. As an adult, Seiya roams the underground fighting rings of the dark streets, searching for his sister's whereabouts. However, during a battle, Seiya unleashes a mysterious power he never knew he possessed—a Cosmo burst, revealing that he is a Saint with the mission to protect the goddess Athena...
The "Saint Cloth Myth EX Pegasus Seiya -Saint Seiya The Beginning" action figure boldly recreates Pegasus Seiya's astonishing leather Cloth design from the live-action film "Saint Seiya The Beginning"! In addition to faithfully reproducing the realistic colors and details based on the prop costume settings from the film, TAMASHII's digital printing technology accurately recreates actor Mackenyu Arata's facial features. Furthermore, the mouthguard on the helmet is detachable, and accessories such as the Cloth Box from the film and a 1/1 scale charm are included.
