Following the previously released "Kaiser Ghidorah" from the "Toho Large Monsters" series by Japanese company X-PLUS (株式会社エクスプラス), the latest product from "Godzilla: Final Wars" has been announced: "FAVORITE SCULPTORS LINE Toho Large Monsters Kaiser Ghidorah Final Battle Ver.", with a suggested retail price of 35,200 JPY, scheduled for release in February 2024!
Released in 2004, "Godzilla: Final Wars (ゴジラ Final Wars)" was the 28th Godzilla film produced by Toho, commemorating Godzilla's 50th anniversary and serving as the then-intended final installment of the Godzilla series. The final boss appearing in the film, "Kaiser Ghidorah," is the most powerful "Emperor" subspecies of the Ghidorah family, capable of emitting powerful "anti-gravity beams" that can easily suppress Godzilla's atomic breath.
The "FAVORITE SCULPTORS LINE Toho Large Monsters Kaiser Ghidorah Final Battle Ver." uses a GK (Garage Kit) created by the renowned sculptor Yukimune Tan (當 幸宗) of GOWROW (ガウロウ) as its prototype. It boasts an impressive height of 33 cm, a length of 46 cm, and a wingspan of 49 cm when its wings are spread! While using the same prototype as the 2017 release, this version incorporates the blue-black tones from the film's final battle into the original complex black and gold mixed paint application, creating a distinct and powerful presence. LED light modules are installed within all three heads, allowing Kaiser Ghidorah to emit sharp, red eyes!
