BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, is releasing new products in its popular S.H.Figuarts articulated figure series, featuring the popular anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. The latest additions, "S.H.Figuarts Frieren" and "S.H.Figuarts Fern," have had their color prototypes revealed!
The Japanese manga Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン), originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure alongside the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The "S.H.Figuarts Frieren," revealed in advance, features articulated pale purple twin tails and subtle blue eyes, capturing Frieren's seemingly placid expression, yet exuding an imposing aura when paired with her magic staff accessory. The "S.H.Figuarts Fern" articulated figure depicts her adult appearance as she travels with Frieren. More detailed product information and sales announcements will be revealed later!
