Taiwanese toy design company "Asmus Toys" has launched its latest product, the "Yusu Urameshi" 1/6 scale collectible action figure, from the popular anime series "Yu Yu Hakusho." Pre-orders are currently open on their official website, with an estimated release in Q4 2023.
The classic Japanese manga series "Yu Yu Hakusho" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1990 to 1994. The protagonist, Yusu Urameshi, initially dies in a car accident and unexpectedly becomes a "Spirit Detective." During his missions, he befriends the demon fox Kurama and Hiei, who came to the human world from the Demon World, and together with his human best friend Kazuma Kuwabara from Sarayashiki Junior High, he solves problems involving demons and yokai in both the Demon World and the Human World, becoming a comrade-in-arms.
The "Asmus Toys Yusu Urameshi" 1/6 scale collectible action figure faithfully recreates Yusu's classic anime appearance with his hair combed back. It features fabric clothing accessories, including his iconic green high school uniform, his early yellow vest martial arts attire, and wrist guards. The uniform jacket even has a realistic design with functional buttons. Coupled with flexible articulation points in the arms, legs, head, and other areas, as well as various expression parts like neutral, battle roar, and smiling faces, collectors can enjoy posing him in a multitude of dynamic stances.
Accessories also include a special Spirit Gun effect part, along with multiple interchangeable hand gestures such as relaxed, fisted, and attacking hands, allowing for the recreation of Spirit Gun firing battle scenes! Furthermore, the Deluxe Version includes an additional complete articulated body and a pair of arms, along with a Spirit Gun effect fired from the fingertips, enabling the simultaneous display and enjoyment of two different Yusu looks!
