GASHAPON, the capsule toy brand from Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., which issues the 'MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE' series of Mobile Suit Gundam heavy equipment X ensemble capsule toys featuring common connection points and infinite customization, today announced that the latest product from Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, "EX49 Psycho Zaku (Thunderbolt Ver.)", will be available for pre-order starting November 17th.
The MS-06R Psycho Zaku is a Mobile Suit developed by the Zeon forces based on the High Mobility Zaku II (R-2 type), equipped with "Reuse P Device" technology. Its entire body's pipelines and joints are sealed, and it is armed with a monstrously large backpack carrying multi-directional rocket thrusters, numerous bazookas, a Zaku Machine Gun, Iron Nails, a Heat Hawk, and other equipment, designed to single-handedly counter large fleets. The ability to operate such a complex mobile suit relies on the "Reuse P Device" technology, which directly links the Mobile Suit to the pilot's limb nerves, allowing it to be maneuvered as flexibly as one's own body. However, this comes at the immense cost of "limb amputation." In the series, pilot Daryl Lorenz lost both legs and his left arm in previous battles, and now, to pilot this machine, he even resolves to discard his remaining right arm, earning the respect of many Zeon soldiers.
The "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX49 Psycho Zaku (Thunderbolt Ver.)" is produced in an SD scale with a main body height of approximately 6.5 cm, meticulously recreating the armor surface details, the characteristic dark red coloring, and numerous thruster nozzles. Its limbs also feature articulated joint designs. It can hold a beam bazooka. With the addition of its gigantic backpack, the total length reaches 14.5 cm, featuring a multitude of thruster nozzles, large fuel tanks, and equipped with a giant bazooka, Zaku Machine Gun, Heat Hawk, landmines, Iron Nail rocket darts, and movable sub-arms, among other rich armaments. Furthermore, multiple parts attachment holes are provided in various locations, allowing for customization with other MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE series products.
