Taiwanese toy design company "Asmus Toys" has launched its latest product, the "Hiei" 1/6 scale collectible action figure, from the popular anime series "Yu Yu Hakusho." Pre-orders are currently open on their official website, with an estimated release in Q4 2023.
Hiei (ひえい), a popular character from "Yu Yu Hakusho," is the son of an ice maiden born in the Land of Glaciers. Deemed a cursed child bringing disaster, he was abandoned by his clan at birth. To find the Ice Tear Stone left by his birth mother, Hina, he had a third eye, the "Jagan Eye," implanted. He excels in swordsmanship and the "Jao Ensatsu Ken" (Evil King Incineration Fist) fighting style, which manipulates the black flames of the demon world. Due to his overwhelming power, which he cannot fully control, he must use bandages to bind his right arm and the Jagan Eye to seal the power of the Evil King Black Dragon.
The "ASMUS TOYS Hiei" 1/6 scale collectible action figure faithfully recreates Hiei's cool appearance from the anime. It features fabric clothing accessories, including his black robe, sleeveless vest, blue sleeveless top, and bandages. It comes with various expression parts, such as a neutral face, a battle roar, and a sinister smirk that reveals his classic Jagan Eye by removing the forehead bandage! The Ice Tear Stone necklace around his neck is also a highlight. With multiple flexible articulated joints in the arms, legs, and head, you can enjoy posing him in a variety of dynamic stances!
Accessories include multiple interchangeable hand gestures for relaxation, clenched fists, bandaged hands, and weapon-holding. These are complemented by a rich array of weapons, such as a die-cast alloy sword (with sheath), a broken blade, the Jao Ensatsu Ken (Evil King Incineration Sword) effect, and the Jao Ensatsu Kokuryuha (Evil King Incineration Black Dragon Wave) effect, allowing you to recreate incredibly cool battle scenes! Furthermore, the luxury edition includes an additional complete articulated body and a pair of arms, enabling you to display and enjoy two different Hiei looks simultaneously!
