Japanese toy company EVOLUTION TOY's HERO ACTION FIGURE series (HAF) is scheduled to release an articulated figure of the enhanced form, "Strong Zaborger" (ストロングザボーガー, English: Strong Zaborger), from the tokusatsu series "Denjin Zaborger" (電人ザボーガー), in June 2024!
"Denjin Zaborger" (電人ザボーガー, ZABORGER) is a tokusatsu series produced by P Production, which began airing on Fuji TV in 1974, totaling 52 episodes. The story follows protagonist Yutaka Daimon. Upon returning home after completing secret police training, he is targeted and killed by the criminal organization Sigma (Σ) Group, who covet the new energy source developed by his deceased father, Dr. Daimon. However, Yutaka Daimon, having an electrode circuit developed by his father embedded in his body, does not die. This electrode circuit can emit "Rage Current" (怒りの電流), which activates Dr. Daimon's secretly developed "Denjin Zaborger." The protagonist and the robot then confront the Sigma Group, with the ultimate goal of defeating their leader, Dr. Akunomiya.
Denjin Zaborger typically appears in its motorcycle form, "Machine Zaborger" (マシーン・ザボーガー), driven and controlled by Yutaka Daimon, and can transform into its humanoid state. Strong Zaborger, on the other hand, appears starting from the original series' "Dinosaur Army Arc." When the protagonist combines with "Machine Bach" (マシーン・バッハ), a motorcycle equipped with twin rocket launchers, driven by Ken Matsue, Denjin Zaborger's power is boosted, transforming it into Strong Zaborger.
This HAF series "Strong Zaborger" figure from EVOLUTION TOY stands approximately 17 cm tall and boasts excellent articulation. The rocket launchers on its waist can rotate, allowing for recreation of its signature move, "Strong Bazooka Fire" (ストロングバズーカファイヤー). The mask on its head can be removed and held as a boomerang weapon. The lower leg parts can be swapped between two types: one with exposed protruding spikes and one without. Additionally, a set of interchangeable hand parts is included.
