T-ARTS, a toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY Company, is set to release the adorable "Ama-Gaeru" (Sweet Frog) gashapon series, which combines Japanese sweets with frogs. There will be five types in total, with a reference price of 300 Japanese Yen per capsule, and they are expected to be available in December 2023!
The "Ama-Gaeru" gashapon transforms frogs into sweet and delectable Japanese desserts. The lineup includes 5 types: "Nerikiri," "Mame Daifuku," "Onsen Manju," "Dorayaki," and "Sanshoku Dango." The frogs' plump bodies and squinting eyes are cleverly incorporated into these distinctive sweets. Within their approximately 4.5 cm size, realistic textures, such as red bean paste, are meticulously sculpted. Coupled with authentic painting and a dedicated small plate included with each type, they look both cute and irresistibly delicious!
